Photojournalism can be soothing
"Bella" Photo By Jannah Esa "Photojournalism and its creativity helped soothe difficult times, which I believe it does for many people." Difficult times occur when things do not go the way we want/need them to. A major issue many people have is that they do not know how to work through difficult times. Photojournalism allows for people to creative and take their mind of things. It is very satisfying to be able to create something where thing go the way you want them to and it feels amazing when your creativity is still able to tell a story that can potentially connect numerous communities and cultures together, emotionally and even spiritually. The photo above is a "raw" photo of my niece, where she is just being herself, and she shines bright. This photo is soothing for me and gives me hope. The process of creating a photo with just the right light and size is beautiful and takes my mind off things that I cannot control or create myself.
